Whether you are looking for something to treasure that captures your newborn’s tiny feet or detail of your toddler’s hands, Pots2Go has all sorts of pottery that fits the bill from tiles and wall plaques to mugs, vases and teapots, there’s not many items we’ve not managed to get a print onto!
You choose the pot, design/layout and paint colour you would like and we will help with the actual print. Then you can write a message, decorate your design or leave it in its simplest form. Our experienced staff are happy to assist with the writing and adaptation of prints if requested (subject to a very reasonable artwork charge!).
It is worth knowing that, generally, you get a better result with footprints for the very youngest babies, as they have a natural instinct to clench their fists for the first months of life. However, older babies and toddlers seem to really enjoy having their hands painted, often wanting to repeat the process over and over again! Finger dot printing is also popular with pre-schoolers and is very effective once glazed.
The paints we use are water-based and non-toxic, therefore safe and easy to wipe off.
Clay Imprints
We are also able to capture perfect hand and footprints of your little ones in clay! Advance bookings are required for clay imprints to give time for clay preparation. Many different styles and options available, please get in touch if this activity is of interest.
Dog & Cat Paw Prints
We can also cater for dog and cat paw prints! Paw prints are super popular, and for good reason! Immortalise your best friends forever! Well-behaved dogs are very welcome in the shop to do prints, and we can provide DIY kits and full instructions as to how to capture your pet’s prints to do at home, and drop back into the shop at a later date!
