Summer Workshops – 31 July – 29 August 2024
By popular demand, our Summer Holiday Workshops will be returning in 2024 from Wednesday 31st July, running until Thursday 29th August!
Choose from three fun creative workshops for all ages: Harry Pottery, Bubble Painting and Slime Time, or do them all! Full schedule below, with all workshops taking place 11am-12pm:

Bubble Painting:
Bubble-paint your very own bowl using our special techniques and straws! £25 per person (includes the large bowl, glazing and firing process incl. instruction – other pottery items can be painted at additional varying cost). No age limit – children and adults encouraged! You must be able to blow through a straw (and not suck!).
Slime Time:
Every child’s dream – and without the mess for you parents at home! Over the course of an hour your children will either make Mermaid Sparkly Slime or Dinosaur Slime! During the workshop there will be time to make coloured batches of slime, add foam balls, glitter, amazing aqua balls and a mermaid tail or dinosaur! £20 per person.
Harry Pottery:
Create your own mug or plate in a Harry Pottery theme! Choose from a Harry Pottery or Ron Weasley design on a mug, or a Harry Potter or Hedwig plate design. We’ll guide you through the painting process all the way. What you’ll need: A passion for Harry Potter and magic! What’s included: The plate/mug (other pottery items available at an extra cost – the plate and mug work best for the designs however), paints, instructor, glazing and firing. Approximately £24-27 per person depending on item chosen. Ideal for age 7+ (or younger children accompanied by an adult who can help a little if needed).
How do I book for a Summer Workshop?
To book, either call us (01423 524797) during our opening hours, come and sign up in person in the shop, or send us an email (info@pots2go.co.uk). We require a non-refundable deposit of £5 per person per booking, which can be paid in advance by BACS (we will provide details on booking). Cancellation Policy: Please note that all bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable. N.B. Pots2Go reserves the right to cancel any session that does not meet the minimum attendance requirements. In the event of this happening, booked participants will be informed and fully reimbursed.
Pottery, Pizza & Prosecco Nights 2024 🥂🍕
Our Pottery, Pizza and Prosecco Nights are great for get togethers of friends/colleagues, providing a creative and fun evening out! We’ll be updating this page with our next Pottery, Pizza and Prosecco Nights very shortly – watch this space! 😍🥂🍕
How Pottery, Pizza & Prosecco Nights work:
Before the evenings:
Book your place/s by calling 01423 524797 or emailing info@pots2go.co.uk. Payment will be taken on booking (£5 per person to participate in the evening).
On the evenings:
Bring your own favourite takeaway pizza or order it to the shop (HG1 1QQ). Also bring your own extra nibbles and alcoholic/soft beverages (we will provide all glasses). Choose a piece/s of pottery to paint and you’ll have 2.5 hours to socialise, paint, eat and drink with your group!
We have a variety of tables available (11 in total of differing sizes to suit your group, ranging from groups of 2-15). BOOKING AHEAD IS ESSENTIAL! It is £5 per person to participate. Please note, the Pizza and Prosecco is not provided by Pots2Go. The small participation fee covers the cleaning/recycling and use of the studio out of hours. There is no requirement for participants to bring Pizza and Prosecco specifically – bring whatever you would like to eat and drink during the evening! Further non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will also be available to purchase on the night.
